The queen personally wove a crown made from the most fragrant roses in her garden to go to the winner of the tournament. The knight who won would receive it directly from his hands. And in that one fleeting meeting the knight fell madly in love with his queen, and she was pleased. He kept those roses until the day of his death and asked that they be buried with him in the tomb. No one ever knew about this love. Only one noticed. The Queen's pet goose who followed her everywhere and observed everything. Fortunately, for his lady's sake, he kept that secret to himself.
