On view from September 3 to 26, 2026, Fairies presents the latest body of work by Italian illustrator Marco Calvi.

Have your belongings vanished only to reappear in places you had already checked?
Has your hair inexplicably become tangled without you even touching it?
If so, a fairy might well be in your midst. These magical, mischievous creatures (sometimes even terrifying and cruel) come in many forms and shapes, each with distinct powers and characteristics.
In Marco Calvi's Fairies, you will meet pixies, changelings, the Fairy Queen, and her four handmaidens. The artist's illustrated journey features pencil lines and watercolor strokes to help viewers discover creatures that have lived invisibly alongside us since the dawn of time.
About the artist
Marco Calvi is a freelance illustrator who lives and works in Milan, Italy. He collaborates with various publishing houses, including ABEditore, Mosca Bianca Edizioni, Nativi Digitali Edizioni, and with craft businesses throughout Italy. Marco loves history, scary things and mysterious things, like ghosts, magic and legends. He shares his life with his partner Federico and their two mischievous whippets Jasper and Lancillotto.
