At the time of this shoot, Rachael had spent nearly three years pursuing conception as a single queer woman, navigating relentless cycles of fertility treatments and IVF. 
 
The photo session was a pause from that rollercoaster—a moment to inhabit her body on its own terms, to regard it with care, admiration, and quiet reverence, rather than as a vehicle of procedure or expectation.
