As an artist who works from the emotions I am experiencing at the time, this piece was created as an outlet for me to navigate through extreme nerve pain from a recent second attack of shingles. “ Hammered Again “ is a visual image of what my mangled nerves feel like. Art is healing and has helped me throughout my life to experience the moment, good and bad through creativity.
